As I said during FP3, when Charles doesn’t feel comfortable with the car he goes beyond the limits to extract the lap.

Thats what happened in Q2, himself to blame. But it doesn’t make difference already have a 10 place grid drop.

Weekend started with worse & now it’s disaster for any WCC hope.

It needs a miracle (Mclaren DNF + Sainz P1 + Charles in top 5) to get that WCC.

    Absolutely.
    Remember my words.
Ferrari will come to strongly regret kicking Sainz to hire Lulu.
It will be hilarious to see the team's reaction to Lulu's BLM antics... not to mention his childish reactions everytime he won't have the best car in the grid under him.

So you are not fan of the team then

His BLM, or his fashion, or any of his life activities won't have any effect to Ferrari

He can do whatever he wants outside of the car

I agree with you, but you need to understand that Ferrari hiring the fake champion was never about trying to win a championship with him. It was about money, that’s it. They have made plenty of money since the announcement and will continue to make more while he is here.

I am not happy about the woke blm business he will bring to Maranello either. Hopefully his stint at Ferrari will be a short one.

There are 2 sides to this coin

    1) Elkann brought in Lewis Hamilton for the business-end of Ferrari which in turn Ferrari will make their money back and then some.

    2) IF Lewis wins a race here and there, then so be it.....but I don't think Lewis will beat Leclerc in seasonal points.

I'm going to compare years 2024 vs 2025 in seasonal points...race by race and see how well Lewis does against Sainz.

Every driver and their moms all have childish reactions everytime they don't have best/fast car

They'll always complain, either it's Hamilton, Alonso, Leclerc, even Verstappen complains all the time

He will try his best to bring all of his “initiatives” front and center at Ferrari. A big part of his deal was to incorporate mission44.

I don't care any about of his initiatives. He can bring whatever he wants as long as he can still perform on track

If it doesn't affect our championship driving why should we care about that

Let's see how he enters the paddock......Ferrari drivers enter the paddock with a Ferrari shirt or jacket. Lewis enters the paddock with the latest fashion(if you call it a fashion but that's his preference to draw attention).

Lewis hasn't been displaying the rainbow on his helmet lately so I'm waiting to see if Ferrari will let him continue.

That's if Ferrari let's Lewis bring his "initiatives" to the table. "No one is bigger than Ferrari" is the mantra at the Scuderia.

Idk why all of you still have those things like BLM, fashion, initiatives when talking about Hamilton

It has not affected any of his driving past few year

Why should we care about that

Because Hamilton lives for the attention i.e. social media followers and he thrives on it whether it's all the P&R (politics & religion) that he draws onto himself.

Ferrari, imo, doesn't like that kind of attention regarding their drivers....although it might (highly stress) with Hamilton.....we wait.

Does Hamilton wearing BLM armband or a rainbow helmet make him drive the car 3 tenths slower ?

Does he wearing a complex t-shirt made the car undriveable

Dude hasn't even touched our car yet all the talk is about his outside activities

All we should care about is car development, pit strategy and on track operation. Everything outside of the car we should leave it outside of the car

Yes, and mostly all of us would like that(bolded area) but Hamilton wants to be bigger than what goes on on the track and his followers love it because Hamilton wants to use F1, as well as his followers, as a platform for these P&R activities.....and it's worked for Hamilton so far.

    Unnecessary distractions.

Plus, as I mentioned in the past - he has already stated that Ferrari isn’t diverse enough for him. Rather than worrying about driving fast and getting acquainted with Maranello and the car - he’s worrying about firing hard working men and women in Maranello to serve his ego.

By diverse he's meaning Ferrari should hire more black people in F1....that's his definition of diverse. Ferrari hire men and women in their corporation and mostly speak Italian.

Anyone noticed the performance gains at Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, since Binotto started to work there?

I bet Binotto will do well at Sauber/Audi. If they use his technical skills and let Jonathon Wheatley manage the team they will improve.

What a great job by Ferrari and Charles, that's how you fight for championship. Technical issues, mistakes and starting basically last all in one deciding weekend while the rival team only gets the front row. We always deliver something special when it matters.

Anything is possible with this sport .Carlos may well surprise maclaren could collide and take each other out technical issues etc etc.Watching Charles come through the pack will be interesting ferrari have nothing to loose.Maclaren have all the pressure and watch out for mad Max and his dive bombing it won't be a snooze fest.

I notice no one has mentioned that Charles is not feeling that well.
He got food poisoning on Thursday night (probably sat beside one of the McLaren drivers!!!!!!!) and didn't sleep.
Yet he turned up for FP1 and got on with it. Whether he's feeling back to normal or not I guess he will give it his all come to-morrow.
    Good luck Ferrari.

I am no longer a fan of the team that is no longer the Ferrari team it once was. It is just a business, like any other. And I am not fond of businesses in particular, since their only goal is to make money for their owners.

And we will see if Lulu can do whatever he wants at Ferrari. We will see how happy true Ferrari fans about his antics.

Lulu was beaten by his junior teammate in 2022 and is on his way to be beaten by George in 2024.
But hey, he is doing great and his BLM BS and doubtful fashion displays have not affected his driving
