    Why are we SO slow????
The track kind of suits us ,the temperatures also and still it looks like the worst performance since the disastrous upgrade in Spain ????!!!!

maybe we were running more fuel, less aggressive engine maps....who knows.
the team gathered a lot of data, so i'm sure they'll set up the cars for optimum pace come quali/race.

    time will tell

We haven't run so havy ever, it's strange to do it now. Are we so confident about our pace ???
Surely we all will be so excited if such thing happened, but right now it doesn't look good.
To lose the championship by points will be sad but loosing it by total defeat on track will be even worse.

are there rules on how much deployment you're allowed to draw from the battery per lap and per race?

if not, the newer unit can help.

As peak power its limited by regulations (i think its 160kw)
Maybe the way its deliver the power might affect it somehow.
    The problem is not there.
As it looks the car has limitations , temperatures/fast corners/asphalt abrasiveness'
Oue car works best in some particular characteristics , mostly when there are hight temperatures and hight asphalt abresiveness witch lead to others destroy their tires. When this doesnt happen we lack speed compare to them.
IN this race we hit this problem that put as in the back foot.
Now IF something changes tomorrow and mostly on Sunday due to track evolution , or we might find something else on car set up ????
But honestly i dont have high hopes.
Its not that im sad about losibg the championship (it was never ours to lose it) , but i wanted at least to show one last good performance.A win or at least something like Lec starting from behind to have a good comeback being clearly the fastest. Then we would at least end it with a good taste. Now if McL dominates in the race it will overshadow us almost completely.

WCC might need a lot of luck, but second in the WDC is still possible and would be quite a shake-up to the end of this season!

If we don't win CWC, and there a slim chances we will, it is not because of this last race and grid penalty it is because of...

Austria, uk & Canada were bad races for Charles. Apart from that he has been either on the podium or 4th. Not a bad year really. Something to build on for next year.

It’s still a failure as McLaren is winning the WCC before us. Your biggest rival is ahead of you.

Don't think we were out for glory runs.....let the others use their tyres.
These conditions have no relevance to quali and the race.

    Hmmm...........Charles: "We are nowhere, nowhere....."

    Does not sound very promising.

Leclerc on radio: "We are nowhere. Nowhere"
McLaren is out of this world , their sector 3 is 3 tenths faster than anyone else. Both Norris and Piastri will sail off to the distance

Even P3 looks pretty hard as Max and Mercedes aren't slower than us

The others do not have reason to do glory runs too...

Sector 1 only has 1 "true" corner and we're losing 1.5 tenth to McLaren. How did that happen

And sector 3, which has plenty of mid and high speed corners, we lost another 3 tenths...

Conditions are not representative though. They should focus on race pace with the penalty. With Sainz they can be more aggressive. Nevertheless, it needed a 10/10 weekend. The pace is not there until now.

I would be surprised if leclerc qualifies in top 10 for Q3. If such thing happens, it’s better to do a pit lane start with a better setup.

I wonder track asphalt & Pirelli reducing tyre pressure had to do some effect on this. But in general reducing the tyre pressure should minimize the risk of Ferrari’s tyre temp issues. It’s strange that they are nowhere on those S tyres.

But if you look at Mediums they are fastest.

Disagree, we are on the right path now with Fred. Short sighted to consider the change in our performances as a failure.

Yeah he did but he was only a tenth up in S2 and the bollard came out the next corner. He’s so off the pace, it won’t be good for the team when Charles is massively quicker, they’ll be bad vibes all round.
