we have to absolutely dominated in Vegas where we are expected to

damage control in Qatar, we'll need some luck

Let's see how many places Leclerc's picks up with penalties looming for the other drivers in front.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Norris should be given a 10 second penalty, bare minimum.

    for the start,

i can't see the FIA saying, yeah, it was a confusing situation, but technically you messed up the start, so we're going to take away any hope of your WDC

    Leclerc's radio after race:
Okay, we'll review all that. Our pace was clearly missing today, so incredibly difficult to match

it was a perfect safety car timing for him though right?

he had new inters to start, but when he caught up to Leclerc he was stuck just the same

that being said, still driver of the day, it's one thing to have the car, but another to also not put a foot wrong

Leclerc not only defended like a lion, i was watching the onboards in one monitor, and his pass to overtake Norris and Russell on the one restart was heroic.

if he could have kept Russell behind he could have nullified any points gained by Mclaren today.

Yup that move was superb. But in the next lap he lost to Russell with a mistake else would have been direct P4 finish.

What a season for him, except that mid season slump he’s the driver of the season so far.

@Greig: can ferrari now concentrate on Leclerc getting P2 in WDC? If Norris get penalised now, the different between P2 to P3 is less.

Merc should be thrown out as well, at least 30s penalties.

Still the same old issues in the rain.

Hopefully in the next 10 years we fix this one.

Also one of the most expensive F1 race weekends ever ?

Too bad CS did his part too.

Seems like Ocon didn’t do any rule break, he was in his position even though 3 cars ahead went on.

see what i mean, so he's okay because he kind of waited longer than the other guys? there's no way these penalties happen.
