I won't say anything about our performance until the end of qualifying lol

Anyway, Max with the full upgrade RBR seems to be the car to beat this week

As usual Max is the car to beat. Friday means nothing in the scheme of things but hey ho let's hope. at least we are not languishing in the middle or back of the grid.

I know it doesn't mean much because because everything might happening in testing, but it's curious that in almost every single lap, Sai is faster then Lec and by a margin!!

Charles has been experimenting with set up. Could he still be doing that?

He full sent it, he was setting purple mini sectors then lost the car

It's just practice, he need to calm down, no need to risk it to the limit 100%

I hope he has learned from this mistake and will be a trifle more careful at turn 4 in the future. Still a pity that some valuable practice time has been lost.

Sainz's long runs pace is abysmal, half a second slower per lap than McLaren + Red Bull + Mercedes

I have a feeling this will be like the 2019 - 2020 race again, finishing 1 minute behind or even get lapped

Thing surprises me the most is that Sainz started his long runs very well, he did a (couple of laps?) 1:24.0 on his first lap, then after that he fell back to 1:24.9 and couldn't improve

Either the tyress were done after 1 lap or , I don't know anymore , the car just simple bad

Charles is just terrible this year. I guess the summer break can't come soon enough for him. And I thought the floor upgrade should have fixed the issue and put us back on top... or at least that's what Vasseur said

Charles goes straight on at turn 1 on his first flying lap mistiming the braking on cold tyres.
