For me it’s a repeat of 2018 & 2022 development path.

Where Ferrari started strong & falling down the clip with development upgrades they bolted on.

I seriously see correlation issues here between On track vs Simulator. Unless they don’t see positive gains, why they rushed 2nd package soon on SF-24?

Also I personally feel, imola upgrade did disturb the balance of the car.

Max has the experience now, he knows how to handle pressure & play the game.

Sprint shows once again McLaren bottled it, where they were supposed to win. Easily fastest car on the grid & still not able to win.

Norris is backed up by many in the F1 media, doesn’t blame him even though he makes a mistake. If it is other driver they get different treatment.

After this sprint I actually start to kinda believe that Verstappen is really that great. The way how he outsmarted Norris and overtook him back even without DRS why Lando had it... that was quite a statement.

Yeah agree, but he had competition in 2021 only.
He didn’t face another one.

2022 - . 2022 ferrari started on a strong note, but bottled it (Ferrari themselves to blame) till then Charles was leading. So if the same path would have continued then I guess 2022 should have been Leclerc vs Max.

2023 - Free hand for his WDC

2024 - Mclaren does have fastest car, but not able to win. Barring few wins from Ferrari/Mclaren, Max will clinch the title once again.

2025 - I see RB could be in actual trouble (No Newey). If McLaren can get their act together, there is potential WDC & WCC. Mercs coming into form, gives them a hope too. Ferrari can be unpredictable once again (it’s better to carry underdogs than favourites after pre-testing).
Max vs McLaren vs Mercs .. this is how I see next year.

Max (as his team ) has the logical evolution as a driver. He had great talent and he happened to be in a team that 1st builded around him 100% and 2nd was more or less astanle team,not always the fastest but was stable. And from 2021 both him and his team look in front and never behind.
Lec on the other hand is a driver that has huge talent but unfortunately our team had mostly treated him badly .That made him start pushing more and more that led to mistakes and loss of confidence. I still believe that if the team provide him a winning car steadily in the hole year ,he also can start acting like a true champion.

And another thing I want to mention
As much as I m frustrated and I "read" all this I said before, I still have a hidden hope inside me and wait race after race to see if the team can turn it around.
And then we all would be ecstatic!!

Max is out of this world in this qualifying
Surprisingly our pace is at least very competitive to McLaren and Mercedes, a front row + top 5 is on the card

He’s pushing over the limit. When car doesn’t work around you, that’s what it happens. Everytime he needs to push to the limit.

He needs to cool down.

About mistakes I agree, about pole not sure. That car is not that close to top car, so not even a great driver cannot pull that and put it on pole. On another hand maybe CL ismaking mistakes because he is pushing more than 110% and car is just that bad?!

He’s pushing over the limit. When car doesn’t work around you, that’s what it happens. Everytime he needs to push to the limit.

He needs to cool down.

But he is a racing driver! It is in his nature to push!
