I say the same thing about Russell and his 7x WDC team-mate.
It's not how start but how you finish.

    why is that?
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

    Charles:

    “What the hell happened guys?”

    Bryan: “We took the antistall.”

Charles: “Thank you but antistall cannot stop the engine. The engine switched off!”

I'm sorry if I offend anybody, but we suck... We've returned to Binotto days of false promisses ("we will be back in Spain" or "we will go better in Austria"), making stupid mistakes and failing in development. Nothing changed. Really slow clap...

It wasn't anti-stall, his engine was completely shut off and he had to do a reset.

    I haven’t seen a single race without a problem on Charles’s car.

Sainz had a DNS last year in Qatar due to a fuel pump issue.

Expecting a typical Ferrari TP like response from our TP:

"Charles P10? Doesn't matter and I doubt he would've qualified higher anyway"

Let's not be dramatic and compare things to Binotto. Ferrari are showing issues, but Binotto takes the cake. This years the team had an excellent run up until Canada.

IMHO, it's the technical department. Their developments on the chassis clearly are going in the wrong direction.

for one way (performance) or another (bad lack/mistakes) or both , we'll have to be sad/frustrated. 1 good reslt and 2,3,4,5... bad ones. And this for years and years .

Yep... this team is lost. We always get near the absolute top but we seem to have no ability, no idea how to keep on that level, or how to even top others completely. No matter how much money we throw at it, how many names we sign, how many changes in the structure we make. It's still the same "almost up and huge down" since Todt letf. I guess we'll never see Ferrari become the champs again... oh well.

Maybe they should bring back Pat Fry, at least under him the operational side was top-notch!

Oh but that's exactly what was happening with Binotto. We had exellent runs in 2017 or 2018, but then we always managed to **** it up. What's different from now? Is the Silverstone HUGE upgrade still on, or was it the Spain non-functional one?

What's the "we" stuff? None of us work for Ferrari.

Development issues, bad strategy, and poor race execution could all be understood. Mercedes has all of that right now, in case you haven't noticed.

Binotto's problem was scolding his driver in public, getting caught cheating, and walking away from the pit wall when the strategy backfired, and deserting his team at their lowest points. That's what's was unforgivable about Binotto, and why he had to go.
