Take Newey we have Rob Marshall.
So Adrian Newey was seen hob-nobbing with Zak Brown at the Historic Monaco Grand Prix weekend this past week. Newey even drove a Lotus 49B during the Grand Prix.
Here's more insight into Newey's [cough] [cough] future plans with his friend Eddie Jordan.

Only a matter of time before annouced at Ferrari
I'm getting reports the MercedesAMGF1 have called off their pursuit in signing Newey.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Michael Schmidt says that apparently Ferrari isn't interested anymore.
Williams and McLaren contacted Newey.
Newey talked with Mercedes and also Aston Martin.
It's not how start but how you finish.
So much for he wants to take a break....talking with every team on the grid lol

There is still hopeEddie Jordan on Adrian Neweys future:
No to Ferrari? Inaccurate and imaginative reconstructions, only Red Bull is no longer an option
- The month of August is expected to be decisive for Adrian Newey's future.
- Newey took his leave from Red Bull on May 1 and will be able to join a new team after the first quarter of 2025.
- Ferrari is a main candidate for Newey's next destination, potentially creating a dream team with the already confirmed arrival of Lewis Hamilton in Maranello.
- David Coulthard excluded Ferrari and McLaren as options for Newey's future, suggesting he would join Aston Martin based on a 'senior' source.
- Coulthard said, A 'senior' source told me that he won't go to Ferrari and for McLaren it would not make sense to take Newey now that they have already found a way to make the car work properly.
- Eddie Jordan, acting as manager or consultant for Newey, refuted Coulthards claims, describing them as inaccurate and imaginative reconstructions.
- Jordan stated, These are inaccurate and imaginative reconstructions. Newey is still in the midst of the decision-making process and right now he is taking advantage of his free time to have fun and live experiences that had previously been precluded from his professional commitments.
- Jordan added, What is certain is that it is now too late for Red Bull to change Newey's mind by 'holding him' in Milton Keynes with a new contract.

Maybe if we don't get Newey we should try and coax Aldo Costa out of his semi retirement.
He has a pretty good track record against Newey. O shucks of course Ferrari sacked him and he went to Mercedes.
In this article Newey and Costa are compared.

Costa is a 5 letter last name.
I wonder if we will be saying the same thing about Cardile in the future ????
and then there was Tombazis. We let too many of our best engineers go to other teams.
Forza Jules
Costa couldn't compete with Newey in the EBD era. He was probably best at pure aero, as was seen when Ferrari dominated when EBD was banned for a race, but couldn't get the car to work with EBD.
Carlos moving over for Lewis would never happen. Lewis knew it and wanted and got Charles.
