Well this all started when
I suggested that Kimi might go to Williams to replace Sargeant and that would open up a seat for Sainz at Merc.
You said promoting Kimi to F1 is a risky move because he may not be a good f1 driver.
I've explained how the junior driver market works with many examples. You seem unable to accept facts.
But you are right that we've wasted enough time on this and it's literally going nowhere.
If Kimi does go to Williams though, maybe we revisit.
For what it's worth

At one moment Sainz has a contract with Merc, the next minute it's Max.
My bet is still with Sainz at Merc.
He should goto Aston, Merc is a dying team, red bull only care about max.
Wondering if Aston would even be a possibility with Honda becoming their works engines. Think they might want to have Yuki in one of the seats? Better than Stroll probably.

Carlos @ Merc until Sr Lewis gets his #8 with Ferrari. But then again looking at Alonso It may take a few years for Lewis to retire even after his 8th is won. 45 may be the new 40 for leaving F1.
Ok so Williams, Alpine, Kick Sauber, where will he end up? and what's best for him from these available options.
I wonder why single season at Merc isn't an option for him, Antonelli can have one season at Williams while Sainz keeps his Merc seat warmed
The way this goes, Kick Sauber (ie Audi) will shut the door at him - noone likes to be kept waiting like this.
This means that it's Williams and Alpine.
Alpine has Briatore behind them so now they 're developing into a big questionmark. Then again you have Williams.
It's 50/50 for me, if it was not for Briatore, it'd be Williams all the way.
However... if Sainz keeps it up, he can easily ends up with no drive. He's not the only one looking for a drive and he acts up as he is. Big mistake.
Alpine is checking up 3 drivers, so soon enough that door might be closing too.

Stroll and Gasly signed new deals, Sainz only options are really Alpine or Williams

Forza Ferrari
I believe Sainz will wind up with Merc.
I read somewhere that he's very interested in MotoGP. Could he be stringing us all along and intends going there? It would be a bit of a shock but his options are getting fewer.
If he leaves it much longer team bosses will give up waiting on him to make his mind up...........unless he's already signed and has not announced it yet.

In the meantime, you 're avoiding the question. I wonder why ;)
No matter. Everyone understands.
Again , thanks for the chuckles.

Briatorie has been giving Sainz his seal of approval. Maybe that's where he's going. If he doesn't hurry up and sign and stop playing the prima donna, he will have no where to go.

It's almost a month later and Saintz is still out there unsigned. I believe he's already confirmed a deal with Merc. Thinking Max will leave R Bull any time soon s a joke! These 1st time drivers wins is keeping fans watching. Those Max clean ups was hurting F1 business fan wise.
Sainz has ruled out a possible sabbatical next year if he cannot secure a top drive.
He's evidently waiting on Merc but they have only ever offered him a 1 year contract.......... clearly keeping the seat warm for Antonelli!
Sainz has however mentioned he would be open for a seat at a mid-field team and be prepared to help them move up the ranks.
I think he has Alpine in mind.
Forza Jules
If Merc takes Sainz for 2025 and gives him a winning car so he can show his great diving with podiums ; Sainz will be happy to do1 yr deals until Lewis retires and Ferrari will resign him. Give Lewis say 3 yrs @ Ferrari ; Sainz will be 33 I believe and better than ever! I'm curious to see how Charles does along side Lewis!
Brembo Carlos doesn't want a 1 year contract and would prefer to go to a mid-field team on a multi-year.
Who knows he may be the saviour Alpine need or maybe his talents will help create a fairytale result at Audi????
As for a return to Ferrari I see Bearman in that seat if his F1 outing at Haas comes up to expectations!!!!!!
Forza Jules
