Turn out the upgrade is worth 0.4 sec , we will need this consistency to always stay ahead of McLaren and beat RB

Charles vs Carlos ; no team orders will bring podiums & wins. The same goes for next season. Sr Lewis picked his team mate and that should be enough for some great competition . Maybe even His #8 With the greatest team !!

At this point, it's probably best to wait for team comments and for Imola to see how this upgrade performs. We wont know until then anyway.

ONLY the stopwatch tells the truth!!!
    Not even the teams themselves.

Having an HP laptop myself, I could not agree more.

The team saying for days/ months that they want to understand as much as they can the base configuration so they can orient/ fine tune the upgrades. And this since we where keeping being competitive.
I never trusted the specific person.
And I cannot (for the life of me) understand how he makes the assumption that there are correlation issues because they are bringing the updates the way they do.
If there were such issues, the updates ferrari were bringing back after summer break would be a flop but they were not.

I don't really pay too much attention in a race that everything and then some came into a perfect storm in order for McLaren to win.
    Ok , so they won.
But I have faith to Ferrari.

BUT it was a strange situation.
The 10 old tires had no degradation that's why Lec made his fastest lap in the penultimate lap.
On their fastest lap yes they had less than 0,2s difference but on average Norris was about 0,3-0,5 I the stint after SC.
The question is ,as Lec made his FL in the very end ,so he had no issues with the times and his time very close to Norris, why his laps before where so slow??? It's was just a no risk strategy?? Was then he had some issues with the tires had suddenly disappear in the end???.
The only certain thing is that he was 10s behind in 20+ laps
The way the package was set up did not give the high speed that was needed in a race with long straights. That could very well be attributed to drag, which supposingly is greatly reduced with the upgrades that are coming.
Basically if the degradation that we do not have is kept in these levels and we do have a reduction of drag, with the supposed improvement in the engine (yes there are those in the pipeline as well), we're in a very good position.

The first thing that caught my eyes is the new RW.

Significant changes in pretty much everywhere I can see. The most important changes aren't visible, the floor and the diffuser.

I've seen the updates on this SF24 Evo during filming day at Fiorano from 5 or 6 sources. It's quite significant.
It's not how start but how you finish.
