Frigging Sainz man. Made a mistake in his first timed lap, then tried to do it again and Charles let him by, but as soon as Chares let him by he slowed down and did a turtle S3 to hold everyone behind.

But pole was on the card for Charles, if not for the slide in S2. But nonetheless, good job.

Piastri Sector 2 was on another level

    Pia 47.471
    Vers +0.698
    Sai +0.853
    Lec +1.163

Yet he loses about 0.7-0.8 seconds at other 2 sectors.

Ferrari again with the wrong Q3 program. They are the first to put the lap time on board when it should've been the opposite. Don't they realize that they are giving away track positions by doing this?

I hope that will hurt Mclaren on the race.

And I think Leclerc slided at T9 ( Where Stroll had a shunt ). Probably that cost him Pole.

It’s crazy how many times they will do that.

Track will be the best at last. Still they sent drivers out early.

Anyways, without that slide in S2 by leclerc…. It was pole for him.

He will be sitting duck in S1 & S3 in race when someone is behind him.

Seems like we have good pace when we don’t have many corners.

Need to maximise this one & Monza.

Who was one pole? Max. He was the last man to do a representative lap & took the pole.

Or why Piastri was ahead of Ferraris? He was the driver to do lap after Ferraris.

Any of the drivers aren’t taking chances in S2 to the extreme because it’s tricky (half wet & half dry).

One more positive thing is Leclerc improved in these sort of conditions from last races.

Multiple sources claim that Red Bull and Mercedes in particular have been asked many questions about their submitted financial data.

During the "raids" by the FIA, drawers are pulled open and everything is looked at.

Even Whatsapp messages and emails are looked into, to see conversations between two people in order to see whether or not they have consulted substantively on anything related to the Formula One team.

    Charles Leclerc:

“I’m really disappointed today. Today we had the potential to be on pole, and I did a mistake in turn 9.”

“I lost like 4 tenths there. It was nothing to do with the car today. Honestly the car felt great. The potential was there for pole.”

“Today was more me, that I did a mistake. The car was really good.”

Charles lost .4ths in S2 with that mistake…. If we take that as a reference, He was on course for pole position.

not as much as wet tyres yes but you have a lot of car going through and it create a dryer path on the track
