Yes this is devastating but I agree we have been improving consistently for the last 3 seasons. I remember 97,98 and 99 it was also pretty devastating. I do think we have the best package.

    Bespoke Merc regulations…fia-Toto corruption.

This was our year and we blew it.

At least Ferrari have an excellent car concept to develop on.

Yes, there was reliability issues, but incompetence was missing. They were gradually improving.

I'm not sure we'll have the fastest car 2-3 years from now on. Look how well we started in 2017 and look how it ended in 2021

At least then we had the combination of best driver, best team boss and best raceday operations. Not to mention the best reliability. We might have the first but for the rest we're as bad as Minardi

Sainz still has 23kmph advantage with the DRS. But Russell is pulling away in the sector 1.

Even with the "illegal engine", the 2019 car had no answer to the Mercedes

Yes that’s my worry. There is no consistency from this year.

Not sure we will have strong car like this down the line.

True......Sainz with a 5 sec. stop and go penalty.

It’s not stop & go. It’s 5sec time penalty I assume. Plz correct me if I’m wrong.

A SC now would be helpful for us

All isn’t lost yet…let’s not forget hamilton is the luckiest driver ever in the history of f1. Verstappen’s engine will probably blow and gift hamilton a win. Then sky will go absolutely crazy…

The car was too slow, especially over one lap but generally points were maximized which almost brought it home three years running. Yes the brake failure at Silverstone and forgotten tyre in the pits at the Nürburgring aside. Reliabilty standards were much lower back then and Ferrari were the least bad on that front.

This is now three (3)car failures for Charles while leading.

Abysmal failure of a team. It’s like Kimi and McLaren in 2005.

I am sorry but who built the car ? Did we buy it from Red Bull ? Give the team some credit, yes we still have a lot to improve but looking back at the previous 2 years we have improved consistently, barring the rule changes that hopefully will not happen there is no reason to believe we won’t improve again next season. And this season let’s keep fighting for wins

So even if Charles didn't crash a big chance his pit stop would have looked the same as Carlos'. I just can't. This is depressing. We can't catch a break. Either technical issues or drivers making a mistake.

That's why statements like "we're not targeting any championships this year" sounds rather hilarious and equally clownish to me.

We had a full 1 year advantage to competition as we ignored last season. Sure we did good job, but not good enough. And next year we will not have that advantage.

No point building a fast car if it can injure Charles or Carlos at any moment by not stopping This could've been a broken foot if at a normal track.

Even I can realize that Sainz needs a pitstop. Surely Ferrari and it's "strategists" must know that mediums will drop off earlier than the hards.
