Classic British condescending attitude lol. In reality, every single British team is struggling to get into Q3.

Oh man I wish I could see it!!! All the sky people are clowns and straight up unprofessional. I miss Hobbs and Matchett (old us broadcast). Those guys were genuinely funny and unbiased.

    all of this is true.

as evidenced by Gasly only managing 317 and being outqualified by the Butler, excuse me, Bottas since we like him now :)

Such a great start of the season. Car is born good. Now keep also good R&D, and at the end

    YAAAAAASSSSSS!!!

Ah this is so awesome! All the hard work! Of course the real test is tomorrow and then the next few races, but to start like this is so rewarding! And it's great to see our drivers finally having a car that is worth their talents.

i agree, but i think what the graphic is saying is that the red bull had a higher minimum speed through the corner, but the Ferrari accelerates quicker, which is huge, they used to say the Merc was extremely driveable

we started seeing this improved driveability from the Ferrari engine with the update at the end of last season

Brilliant job by K-Mag & Bottas. I think Alfa R should have gone for GIO.
Would have been another car into Top 10. Kicking either one Mercs or Alfa T out.

Do we realistically have a chance to win the WDC this year?

We know Leclerc is quick in races too.

we got the driver... now it is looking like we got the car too.
We also have tire strategies and if it's going to be this close, we need to absolutely perfect on tire strategy and pit lane delta's with regards to the pit crew.

Way to early to tell. Give it 5 to 6 races in the season.

It’s too soon to talk about it. If we are consistently in top3 for few races. Then we can go for it.

If not mistaken Sainz said somewhere Ferrari is better in race trim than in qualifying.

I believe Gio was specifically not given a seat so that he could be a development driver for SF. His feedback gave us the brilliant 2018 car.

Remember guys, the F1-75 is still a launch spec. They are few upgrades in the car, but nothing major. I believe the first major upgrade will be introduced in Australia.

So there is plenty more to come.

Let's all do ourselves a favour and NOT think about WDC for now. This will be the longest season in recent years. Let's win races and enjoy the victories as we go. We haven't been here in a long time. Let's savour the pole positions and race wins and let's allow the season to unfold.

the car seems good. very satisfied!!

if we can improve on fast corners and a bit that straight line speed. we were 8km/h down which is substantial.

i dont know if this was due to setup or drug or engine power but it will be needed on long straight circuits

Some take aways from the obvious:

Ferrari PU is powerful judging by Leclerc, Sainz, K-Mag and Bottas (whome finished ahead of the Mercs....."Lewis hold my beer.")

Ocon's time clock is ticking for this season. I mean really, gettin beat by a 41yo driver Alonso during quali is humiliating.

Mick's time clock is ticking as evidenced by K-Mag whose been out of an F1 car for a year and under a NEW FORMULA.

Stroll.....jeeeezus....what a pathetic F1 driver...gettin beat by Hulk who's been out of F1 for over a year and under a NEW FORMULA with very little practice in the car.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Can we kill the “sandbagging” narrative now?
