Sorry I meant the AT.
Sorry I meant the AT.
Rest in Peace Leza, you were a true warrior...
If that is the real car, looks fantastic.
Anyone notice the cooling louvers that run on the upper rear part of the sidepod and into the body of the engine cover??
This would make the 2nd car with cooling louvers. The AMR22 has them also.
It's not how start but how you finish.
The Alfa has them too, they were visible on one of the rearward shots.

the "different" thing is this "dig" on the top of the sidepods

FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Best livery in years. Sidepods and rear end look massive, very nineties. Hope it doesn't end up being a repeat of the F14-T.
The Hass will also have cooling louvers, I seem to see a different white panel in one of the photos. They removed (even if numeric) it or didn't need it on this earlier version. Some teams have put canon exits on the back, like last year, which may not be enough. But the Hass didn't have these canons
Howether, the F1-75 louvers are nicely twisty

I'm fine with the livery being from 1990, but the entire car appears to be modeled from 1990 too. Those sidepods are horrendously big. Very little coke bottle design. The width of the sidepod extend nearly the edge of the floor, with just a small channel of an undercut. The sidepod are also very wide all the way down the length of the car, very much like AM, just without the undercut. Despite the huge sidepods, Ferrari still feel the need to run louvers which technically create dirty air so this just seems to be the worst design so far.
Wow what? No one can be trusted it seems. Our trick engine was leaked from within to our competitors. Now our car leaks the day before launch. Not a huge deal in the big picture of our launch, however there is definitely problems within our organization if this keeps happening.
~FORZA FERRARI~
If you read Binnoto words properly, it's not meets the eye, it is mostly stuff under the bodywork (let's hope so)... When Ferrari launch an innovative design of the sidepods with very compact cooling elements, it took some time for our competitors to understand what we had, and next thing everybody was following our trend. I would love if that kind of attitude was the one they favoured in this year challenger design philosophy.
I'm not really understanding what you are saying. If you are asking then why has Ferrari being hyping up the car, well teams have been known to lie before. Besides all the cars are untested, so we don't know who is right yet. Plus we don't even know how much the cars will change before the first race of the season.
Looks good. A shame it leaked
Never claimed to be one, but I do have a basic understanding of aerodynamics. Maybe you don't? Just because you don't understand doesn't mean you should try to insult people.
I'm anxious to see what some actual aerodynamisists say about the car because from that one imagine, it doesn't make sense to me. I'd ask why it makes sense to you, but I don't think I'll get a very technical answer.
im not sure its like you say !!! we will see more tomorrow. till now the rumours say that this design has diven us very good data on the wind tunnel and CFD !!! And of dispite what me ,you ,experts or even the team itself say, the results on Q3 on Martch 19th will tell the 1 and only truth !!!!
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
So the SF-24 has been a decent car. Lets hope the 2025 single seater will be beast that will give us tifosi something to smile about.
https://scuderiafans.com/alfa-romeo-...th-new-engine/ ONE SECOND FASTER THEN IT'S predecessor !!!! ????
Now I'm no aero guy but I don't follow your logic here, what's the basic thing that you are seeing wrong again?
About venting hot air from the louvers this is something that has been banned for a few years so the fact that we have not seen it for years does not mean its wrong.
I've been following https://www.youtube.com/c/KYLEDRIVES and he did not say that the Aston was wrong to do so he actually praised it for effectively channeling the hot air under the rear wing which will be very similar to what Ferrari are doing.
As for the side pods being "huge" to my eye they are not, I think I can actually see an undercut that's not that obvious from the picture. Notice the transition from red to black, there's a gradient there thus a shadow thus an undercut.
The side pods also seem to tighten faster than then to ones on the Aston, while all other cars have a massive cannon at the back to extract hot air. Which was something that I recall was also frowned upon back when Ferrari did it a few years back but ok ... it seems Ferrari is never right no matter what they do...
Another thing about the side pods, look at the sculpting, they are very intricate they are doing something clever there.
Then look at the nose, it looks much shorter than what we have seen to date and in theory opens up more air for the floor where most of the down force is generated this year.
we've seen it already and its very hard to believe it . From where did they made the comparissons ?? They only did 1 shakedown where you dont go for lap times ,only system chekings !!! And it was wet with wet tires. So i really strugle to believe it!! AND the source is my countryman and we dont consider him a big expert!!!
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
