That'll never happen, Lewis is the FIA's favourite and they'll do nothing to tarnish his image.

Seb lapped by Lewis on lap 58....unbelievable.
It's not how start but how you finish.

I really wonder what is going on behind the scenes here.

Politically, this is a very different Ferrari team than the one I always supported.

This is not a result Ferrari aims for. We need to understand the car and we need to improve the next race.

And all this will fuel cheating speculations on Mercedes.

They all wanted to create cheating innuendos against Ferrari the past few years and get the car and engine heavily audited, time to do the same to them.

Puffing engine smoke for instance, 'cheating' when it's Ferrari, when it's them, nothing mentioned.

Yeah, Ferrari has no say in F1 anymore. It's beyond a joke. They may as well power entire grid with merc engines and leave F1 for good.

As has been said many times already, the outcry when we were performing well (on a much leveller playing field) in the 00s got rules changed to stop us winning. Now with merc aboslute power and dominance not a peep out of anyone. I remember at the time brundle was one of those who wanted our wings clipped "for the good of the sport" the silence now is deafening.

Hope Ferrari are taking it seriously to compete in IndyCar as they mentioned.
Well I can't blame Mercedes for doing a stellar job. We had different aero regulations from 2014-2016 but Mercedes was dominant, we now have completely different aero regulation but still Mercedes is dominating. And the way they operate and functions as a team, I don't see any reason for them to not dominate 2022 aero regs.

The real question is, with all its money and resources, why can't Ferrari match Mercedes. For some of us, the answer is quite clear.

I truly hope they leave, and I've been following the sport since the 80's.

    F1 will collapse without them.

IndyCar would probably be good for the American market anyway.

I'd like to see a works LMP1 team as well to go with our partners in the GTE category.

I have no problem with that.

I would just like to see their car and engine get the same level of scrutiny from the FIA, and not have any double-standards.

And red bull? Mclaren? Let's be honest merc have been the class of the field. We have the second most wins in the same period. No doubt we've been rubbish compared to merc but we aren't some lone case of ineptitude. The merc operation is slick and well developed.

The double standard is so evident. For anyone who has watched this sport for ANY amount of time. Just the amount of calls for Ferrari to have their wings clipped in the early 2000s and the utter jubilation that Mercedes receives for the same thing.

RBR tried so hard to pass Ferrari in any way possible that they forgot that 2nd best all they ever will be. I'm sure Max is thrilled about that.

Exactly. They did everything to slow down Ferrari. And they were open about it, they said they made changes to make the sport more exciting.
