They need to get out of that little village called Maranello. By being there, they can't attract the best talents in F1.

That was painful... not what we were hoping for :((

But as I'm forever the optimist let's see if they can pull a rabbit out the hat tomorrow and/or during the rest of the season.

Ferrari thinks they are so good, they ran the team like a cult, they need to bring in people outside of italy and stop doing things italian way. The success they had over 10 years ago was when two none Italian were team principal

Not if laws of physics will be working tomorrow.

That’s a good job by Leclerc. With that car he managed to pull out in top 10.

Most team brought almost new car during lock down what was Ferrari doing? Italian ways of doing things will not work again. The last time Ferrari was successful was when it was ran by two none Italian Citizen

They were honouring the agreement alongside the FIA "for the good of the sport". This is simply karma for the way they have treated their driver's as nothing but surplus to requirements over the years. Lauda was probably the most brutally honest when he said in 73 that car is a *****box to Enzo.

Ferrari are right in putting their faith in Leclerc-about the only thing that's right with today's performance!? They have to build him a better car!

Bring back last year car... This is a real mess and an embarrassment. A clown team.. how can you mess up like this. Heads need to roll.

If the issue behind the top speed is the engine (which from 90% it is, as all Ferrari powered cars are far back), we may just pack our stuff and call it a year... Actually call it a 2 years. Because the engines are frozen. That's what you get by not playing by the rules. You get caught and then left behind, because all the others were improving within the rules and that will not be taken from them.

Probably yes, as Racing Point is using one... but not much would probably change. The engine has to be this years as there were more limits applied, so the 2019 engine would be illegal.

I would actually place a bet, about if our nose will finally change from this humongous snout our car has for years, while the others are developing hard in this area.

    So lets compare:

    SF90 vs SF1000: (Leclerc Q3)

    Sector 1: 15.952 vs 16.423

    Sector 2: 27.961 vs 28.215

    Sector 3: 19.050 vs 19.260

What an utterly impressive job they've done with this years car. Not only it is slower on the straights, but slower in corners as well. Really..really...impressive

Jeez, here we go again. You just won't let the anti-Italian vitriol go, will you? It really is an obsession with you, I see.

A lot of that around here on this forum. I find it hilarious that a forum for (supposedly) Ferrari tifosi is so vociferously anti-Italian!

We are 1 second slower then 2019.

So the engine trick costs us big time.

I'm surprised this year's car is not looking more similar to the Mercedes of last year.

In 1997, after a bad 1996 design, the F310-B was a lot more similar to the Williams design with the higher nose of the previous year. It probably took some inspiration from those design concepts.

Nothing wrong in learning from what works in another team and then adapting and developing those concepts into your own car and team.
