Ferrari has a testing track right next to the factory, so it was very quick to test parts.

Same question, name one driver who had won championships when Arrivabene was TP. I mean we can play this game all the time, but it will be a waste of team.

And no, Arrivabene the tobacco guy wasn't even close to someone like Todt...really you make me laugh. I mean just take a look at 2018 season and the amount of mismanagement there was under Arrivabene. And I would never hold a TP on high regard, who calls his driver "my friend".
When Binotto became the TD, there was lot of question marks, especially from people with zero knowledge and understandings. But he turned the team around, under his leadership the Ferrari PU became the best of the field, and we had cars like SF70 and SF71.

Yes, Binotto's performance as TP is a bit subpar. But I would still take him over Arrivabene the tobacco guy any day every day. At the end of the he's an extremely talented engineer and quite methodical. He's been with Ferrari since 96 and knows ins and outs of Scuderia. I would still give him time.

Leclerc needs to get his sector 1 tidy, Last lap he gave away 3 tenths there.

I think that is because we lack the speed from our PU probably. Look at othe Ferrari powered cars. They are all at the bottom of the times.

The car is a draggy brick, that's way the first sector is bad

But Vettel did 16.280, Leclerc on the other hand 16.561 on his last lap (best time 16.465). With a good sector 1, he will get a lot closer.

How can one go from the best engine to the worst in one year? I really can't understand this situation

Mclaren is a surprise, very fast in sector 1. It's keeping them closer to the front

We were caught cheating... or not cheating literally, but using the rules in a way, FIA didn't want us to. That made our engine great. Without it our engine department did not manage to recover the lost HP. And with the areodynamics done wrong too...

Its all engine or if not the engine it's aerodynamic drag.

Sky showed a graphic from q1 for vettel. We were 2nd in slow speed, 4th in medium and 6th in high speed, 19th on the straights...

yep, this looks even worse, then I thought. This is just a midfield car, what the hell? McLaren ahead of us? Red Bull faster than us on harder tyres? How can anyone else, than Williams, who is broke, build such a dog?

Midfield. Just a midfield. And not even a top of the midfield.

That's it I've seen enough of this, it's bad enough with the performance of the car but with croft and brundle unable to hide their joy at our failures.
