He reverted to old clutch...not the new one which he's been using since Spain.

Nothing to do with luck or fate. We are just shooting and shooting ourselves in the leg persistently: Baku, Singapore, Malaysia (2shots). Wonder how many bullets left in our gun....

Which obviously shows that this team is not ready to be champions just yet. We have the package, we have the team and the driver(s) but this year's gonna be a hard learning year to what kind of mistakes should be avoided against an extremely experienced and tough rival. Ideally, we should be 20-30 points clear ahead of Hamilton and mighty close in the constructors. Instead, we cling on DNFs for Hamilton and a race where both of our cars can finish at least. Next year is gonna be our year but this seems to be the learning path.

Sadly, it has taken quite a while to go the learning curve...

Alonso really is a bitter old man. His block on Vettel was blatant. Figured he would be used to being a back marker by now and knowing what's expected of them. Whatever bit of dignity he might have had just blew out the cockpit. Lost all respect for him. He deserves to be back of the grid.

Sat Seb's car would not run after parc ferme, Sun Kimi's car failed AFTER parc ferme. Both cars were perfect BEFORE entering parc ferme. Who was doing what inside parc ferme? Sabotage?

Sebs car wasnt in Parc ferme. They only go in "there" after qualifying.

I think WCC is pretty much over with 5 races to go.

Damn vet needs atleast 4 wins in 5 races.

HAM- 25+25+25+18 is NOT equal to 143 pts. It's equal to 93 pts.

I have a feeling Merc will struggle again in Suzuka. I was surprised by our pace, obviously had the fastest car on track. What happened to Merc today though? Have they fallen behind in development or something? Lewis also had a depressive interview after the race stating he is worried about Merc's performance next year.

We really should be leading the WDC but it's not over yet but anyway a great turnaround for the team this year and some are very quick to forget where we were last few seasons. We are now in a strong place to go on and finish this season well and maybe just maybe win a title.

Yeah we should be leading WDC. Unfortunately it's not.
We have a strong car. Strong chasis, if we can concentrate on that engine part for next season we can dominate the things straight from go.
As next year, with the rules it will level the field. RB would be strong. They will come into play. We know how mad max can be over agressive. So we need little bit of engine advantage over them.

IF we hadn't had the disastrous first lap crash in Singapore and IF we'd managed to get 2 cars to start in Sepang, we'd be a damn sight closer, it's 50:50 reliability and luck and we have had neither in recent races. We are overdue some recompense.

Well, Seb did as much as he could. The championship is out of his hands at the point. He can only do his upmost and hope for luck to turn the other way.

The problem is if the car has suddenly become unreliable then I see no hope.
