That's my idea about the Ferrari's announcement on Monday
Ferrari 667
Can some Italians here translate this please?

CAVALLINO RAMPANTE PER SEMPRE
The engine drawing seems to indicate they moved the intercooler out of the V to allow room to use variable length inlet trumpets, which Mercedes (and possibly Renault) last year.
Verona :)
I made a summary of this article :) https://twitter.com/Gianlu_DAle/stat...09225868972032
The only thing that I didn't wrote, is that there's the possibility that Ferrari will use the s-duct
Ok, but if they move intercooler and adopt system of variable trumpets, isn't it better to split compressor to shorten the air intakes and reduce the warming of the compressed air?
F1Analisitecnica, site with extremely good record, has said (12.12.2015) that Ferrari's IC will be placed in lower part of the chassis (inside, like Merc) and that they believe turbo will be separated but they don't have enough info. Said there are few different types of engines on the dyno and that simulator data is great, but reliability seems to be problem currently.
They are working on the Reliability of the Combustion chamber ! Some very good News

ARRIVANO I CORNETTI A GEOMETRIA VARIABILE
MARCHIONE VUOLE VINCERE SUBITO

Ferrari: in the secrets of the combustion engine in 2016!
The operation is very brave and not without risk: use the 6-cylinder turbocharged 1.6-liter petrol almost like a "diesel". Ferrari wants to go back to being leader in motorsports, after suffering for a couple of seasons the clear supremacy of the Mercedes that has best interpreted the regulation related to modern hybrid power unit, enhancing the qualities of electric motors. Not that the other manufacturers (Mercedes, Renault and Honda) are not working on the same themes, but in Maranello are pushing on this research which could have beneficial effects also in the fallout of the product production.
PRESSURE 300 BAR IN FURNACE!
In 2016, facts, research of motorists Horse has focused mainly in the combustion chamber unit endothermic. Lorenzo Sassi, chief designer of 059/5, has launched a very innovative project which requires many changes to the layout of the engine and, more generally, to the car signed 667. The goal is to arrive in the course of the season in a chamber pressure of 300 bar, while last year would not have exceeded values of 220/240 bar.
YOU WANT TO REDUCE THE TIME "TRIGGER"
The goal? Significantly reduce the trigger time, since the combustion of the combustion air (mixture of air + gasoline) is determined by the quality of the fuel. In direct injection engines, such as F1, it tends to increase the pressure with the ambition to get to self long before the spark of the candle (that could eventually become useless?) Times are ahead, which would allow a substantial increase in power. Easy to say, very difficult to be realized.
ARE COMING CORNETTI VARIABLE
To improve this process it is better to bring fresh air into the combustion chamber: to optimize this aspect Ferrari decided to adopt the croissants variable geometry that the regulation allows use since last year and that other motorists have used in the last championship. In 2015 they had not been deemed necessary because the intercooler of the compressor was mounted in the V of the cylinder head. Moving this important accessory in the frame of 667 (following a concept dear to the Mercedes) allows you to create space between the cylinder banks to adopt the trumpets furniture in an area where there is already too MGU-H. The intercooler air / water will increase in size compared to that of last year.
WARNING INCREASED TEMPERATURES!
Increased pressure in the room creates, in fact, a significant rise in temperatures, with highs of up to 1,100 degrees! It is clear, therefore, that in the face of an increase in power is necessary to revise the cooling system for the engine life hard the 5 Gp representing the mission of 2016. The need to dissipate more heat will have an impact on the cores? We'll find out at the presentation of the new Red.
MAGAZINE DIRECT INJECTION AND FUEL PUMP
It is certain that they must have been revised also the injectors (Magneti Marelli that ensure a spry with a pressure of 500 bar) and the fuel pump which is now made of carbon. Very important is the collaboration with Shell that develops fuels that must prevent the detonation with a better propagation of flame, despite the close ties which are set by the FIA that this issue is rather restrictive.
NO PIECE INTEGRAL
The gasoline (and fresh air) will return to also have a cooling function to make sure that the pistons Mahle not have to suffer? Apparently so. The engine development also will not have the whole block, as it was early last year: in 059/4 there will still be the cylinder bores. The base, therefore, would not be realized in the merger, but Billet is important to look for performance, but it is vital not to lose reliability. This unit is the result of the work that engineers Mattia Binotto, director of the engines, have carried out in collaboration with AVL in Graz with the supervision of Wolf Zimmermann, a specialist who last year came from the Mercedes.
MARCHIONE WANTS TO WIN NOW
Sergio Marchionne asking a Ferrari since winning Australian GP: the president of the Horse is putting great pressure on the technicians of the Racing Department because he wants to challenge the Mercedes immediately: in Maranello there is turmoil because the information on the new car are very positive and Data on the power unit are more than encouraging.
RELIABILITY 'E' STILL TO FIND
In Sports Management I am sure to have made a big leap in quality. Just go to the attack of the silver arrows? And most importantly, there is first the reliability needed to launch the challenge to Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg? The first we will have the answers during testing will begin in Barcelona February 22: at the time the new power unit that is turning to the benches dynamic has not yet reached the time, but we are in January and there are still two months to reach the target ...
Drawings of Giorgio Piola: top left, you can eosservare the intercooler air / water of the compressor that on SF15-T was mounted in the V of the cylinder 6 and will be transferred in the frame of the 667 to make room for croissants variable geometry, top right, a concept taken from the V10 Horse, and then banned by the FIA to the newly introduced granted last year.
Funny how they know all our secrets before we even need to launch the car...
Hero's come and go, but legends never die!
Day by day we hear more and more encouraging news about out new "weapon" for 2016!!!!I try to hide my excitement but i cant wait to see what will present come Fabuary!!!It will be wondeful to be top guns again!!!!!
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
That's why I am little concerned, but I believe in good result. And one thing - we know almost all about 667 and there are no single word of, for example W07...
http://www.f1analisitecnica.com/2016...ola-d.html?m=1
They wrote about W07 today.
So the situation looks like they now have a good increase in power but also a good increase in heat rejection as well. That means they obviously will need to work on radiator efficiency, either by increasing size or clever design or both. I'm keen on more information on their association with AVL, which is a company that specialises in combustion - I heard this a while back and believe it's the key area that will unlock their goals. The talk about the engine almost being diesel-like is cutting-edge, and I suspect Mercedes had been advanced in that area going by a road car article I read some 5 years ago. It's of no surprise then that they're employing ex Mercedes combustion technician, Wolf Zimmermann.
On one hand I am glad to read/hear any news regarding new Ferrari F1 car for 2016. But on the other hand I would rather not know it and keep it as a super secret and than come Australia, we leave everyone with an open jaw! I know it is very hard to keep a secret nowadays, but also it could be just rumors and wishful thinking...
Since 2014 we keep hearing rumors-news about everybody and for Mercs (especially the spilt turbo concept is very much analyzed) and it didnt bothered them to dominate!!!!So now i think we are the team that everyone waiting to see what we will come up with to challenge Mercs, and that we propably will bw the team with the most changes because (as i see it)we give it all to win!!!!So if that is the case , its logical everyone to deal with us and hear rumors every now and then!!
P.S I have the feeling that SM pushing really hard for results bacause it seems like the spin off didnt go as he thought and he desperately needs us to win!!!!
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Lets just wait and see how the new car will look like. IIRC, push rod was something that has been rumored many times in the past and nothing has changed. Of course, if you keep guessing long enough, eventually you may finally see it happening, but then that wouldn't be a leaked info anymore, as leak info should be correct the first time. It would be just guesswork.
I suspect most of these rumors are just guesswork. Educated guesswork perhaps, based on what we already know, and these are how they think Ferrari will react. But still guesswork nevertheless.
uuum what??????

CUT ME. CUT YOU. BOTH OUR BLOOD IS FERRARI RED!
Yeah and we should have gotten news that the car has successfully passed crash testing already. But that F1 car silhouette kinda makes it harder not to believe otherwise.
The original article, actually, was by CircusF1.com.. They copied the date..
Here about Ferrari: http://www.circusf1.com/2016/01/pres...9-febbraio.php
Here about the other teams: http://www.circusf1.com/2016/01/pres...-monoposto.php
We made an article about that :) http://www.circusf1.com/2016/01/tutt...eadysetred.php
But you're right: it could be for a WebTv, Interviews, new youtube channel.. But I think it could be also for the new theme park in PortAventura (as you said), the Ferrari Land :)
Sorry, I made a double post :)
