Does anyone know what he's talking about? 3rd, 100 points behind?? Though I guess I agree with him on that Ferrari shouldn't be content with what they've accomplished so far.
Sour grapes Mr. Alonso. Any way you are now driving for your childhood dream team, so you must be over the moon happy?!

the 2 tokens - I guess no one here knows where they were used? For all we know, these tokens could have been in the MGUK and MGKH instead of the ICE. And in terms of peak HP, maybe there's only a small gain there like 15 to 20hp or less. However, there may be big gains in the lower end of the power and torque curves resulting in much better acceleration. There could well be as much as 60HP gained at the lower end of the RPM range by diligent reworking of ignition and fuel maps along with alterations to valve timing, which is concealed by the not-so improved top speeds but reveals itself by the faster sector times.

Would be interesting to see the power and torque curves, but my guess is that there's an immediate bump-up in the curves much lower in the RPM range followed by a tapering off advantage over the old curves where they almost meet at the peak. Would make a lot of sense, and could be backed-up by the amount of wing in use.

Just speculating, but hope more is revealed in the next coming days as to the changes made to the engine and where and how much gains were made.

MArrivabene: Bernie, I want to get your opinion on another thing: there was a survey on the most popular driver, and guess what, it was Kimi Raikkonen. Not someone who is overly charming or talkative...
BEcclestone: ...maybe because Lewis (Hamilton) is going a bit over the top now. And maybe Kimi is so popular because he is controversial in his own way.
MA: I have my own ideas about Kimi’s popularity: it is a bit like the man who falls in love with the girl who’s ignoring him. (laughs)
BE: I would love to see Kimi win races. He is a proper racer.

That's a surprisingly large difference in top speed between Kimi and Seb compared to other teammate pairs. (Rosberg/Hamilton have a similar gap but Nico was running a weaker engine than his teammate). I wonder if our two guys are using different aero set-ups.

FA lies in bed at night thinking of alibis and aspersions to cast because he certainly can't dream of winning but
won't say anything bad about McLaren-Honda, YET! His team is so PATHETIC and yet I don't feel sorry for them
even when they're battling with backmarkers MOST of whom are ahead of them:)

Kimi, you managed to beat Sebastian by five hundredths of a second. Where did you take that?
KR: I don’t know. I haven’t seen the data so somewhere, doesn’t matter where it was. I gained on my previous best in the last corner. It doesn’t matter to me where it happens.

Kimi was 2.5 seconds faster than 2014, Lewis was 0.7 sec and Nico was 0.6 faster.

Terrible day, I was there when it happened and the atmosphere was grim, I was already a tifoso and feared the Lotus competition, but even so, it was a tragedy for sure.
