Sauber also thinks the engine has taken a step forward so positive news so far.

I am way long into this sport, and I know that winter testing doesn't mean much... But... Finger crossed... Not to jinx anything...

@WilliamsRacing: "It's raining so @ValtteriBottas has jumped out. Must be the @MercedesAMGF1 water leak"
"If he can't do it with Ferrari, well, he can't do it." - John Surtees
to bad we don't do a rain stint?
All rake addicts, here you go, this is the benchmark. Find the SF15T in same angle and we can start comparing.
It's certainly great and satisfying to see our car on top of the times list on two days in a row, and our pace really does seem to be good even on the longer stints, but I think a better indication of our true speed will be when Kimi starts his testing runs. If he can also set such fast times then that would indicate that the car is very good indeed. So let's see what happens tomorrow. *fingers crossed*
KEEP CALM AND LOVE FERRARI
Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves, I remember there were a few encouraging signs in the first test last year as well until the last test session when everyone start to push a little more and Ferrari started to acknowledge they were on the back foot...
Until the first race, I wont be reading anything into these test sessions....
Rest in Peace Leza, you were a true warrior...
I don't give a single F about the lap times, but; two trouble-free days in a row ? That's something to be called a "great start".
Disappointing; 2009 to 2016...
770 km on the Ferrari PU today. Great work with Sauber.
Hopefully tomorrow will be nice day without any rain and Kimi gets decent amount of laps. I'm very interested what he has to say about the car and how it feels compared to F14T.
That's the end of the second day's running here in Jerez. Ferrari power leads the way again with Vettel fastest from Nasr's Sauber.
KEEP CALM AND LOVE FERRARI
I thinks sf15t is good step forward. I knew we have to wait till australia. But the signs of realibility encourages me. Waiting for Kimi to takeover
Fight with passion, win with pride, lose with respect, but never give up.
is good to see there was no big problems on testing, and a nice bonus to see the red car on top of the times... let's wait for kimi's run, and to keep positive about this year, ferrari can put a fight
Based on these two days alone I'm cautiously optimistic.
"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."
Horner
Well, good to see our winter testing going relatively well. As others have said, this is certainly not the time to read into the lap times yet. What's important is to get in all the laps and do all the testing the team need, ie. no any major reliability interrupting our program. So it's nice to see things going well, no any fire or smoke.
ps: Hope Vettel has gotten accustom well to the Ferrari environment, or as much as it's possible in 2 days of testing.
