come on the scuderia team, try to avoid 30s behind the Merc team :)
Come on, boys. Hope dies last, as they say.
Problem with water pump in Raikkonen` s car
08:27 EDD STRAW, from trackside at the Sachs Kurve: "Big variety here in terms of how comfortable cars are putting down the power. While some of the Mercedes cars are visibly moving around, such as the Williams and the 'works' car, we are seeing more caution from some of the non-Mercedes cars.
"Alonso looks mega through here though - really quick out of the corner before the Sachs Kurve and happy to hang the rear out a bit at the exit of the 180-degree left-hander."
08:34 @InsideFerrari: "RAI has a technical issue."
Based on the radio messages from when Raikkonen was making his way back to the pits, that issue is with the water pump.
Our car looks very stable today
Anyone got a stream link, mine is broken :(
probably more stable with low fuel
Caterburn Renault
too bad Alonso ran wide in final corner on supersofts...I'm sure we are nearer than 0,5 sec to the top...
Race pace doesn't seem to bad..
The Ferrari is a dream - people dream of owning this special vehicle and for most people it will remain a dream apart from for those lucky few. ~ Enzo Ferrari
Any idea what time alonso would have done without that error in the final corner?
Is it me or Kimi looking better than Nando in Fp2? Not sure about Alonso's pace.
Always hope dude...Even when we're winning.
Go Ferrari!!!
A few of take-aways from the F1 commentary: 1) Hamilton, Ricciardo and Vettle lapping at about 1:22.9 on long runs. 2) Alonso lapping in mid 1:23s, 3) Super softs on Bottas' car were dead after 10 laps. Looks like the SS tires don't like the heat. Might have been a bad choice by Pirelli...no surprise.
Kimi 4th fastest, Alonso 9th. Don't read too much into that.

Decent number of laps from Kimi and Fernando in FP2.

Fastest lap in Fp2 by sector times. Alonso only ran primes in long runs I think.
Yes I do. Thanks.
The number of posts reducing in the forum are i suppose proportional to Ferrari's (good)results.
People just not expecting improvements or wat from Ferrari? :(
(Not referring to today alone).
Forza Ferrari.
Can't speak for others, but I think in recent races, we've seen that Friday results doesn't seem to show the order we end up seeing on qualifying and race (except for Merc who is always at the front of course). Ferrari seem to show more pace on Friday while our competitors are more reserved.
So I don't think we can predict how our weekend will be from FP results. It's a fun thing to watch if you have the time, but for our true pace, we have to wait until qualifying. IMO.
