Was it raining in FPs? It's allways the same. Always something to hide our pace behind. Rain, mistake, strategy, sandbagging,... It's quite clear we are not in the league of Merc and RB. And our race pace was even worse in comparison.

And making those insane strategic errors is a good excuse?

No, I'm not happy, but I'm not going to mindlessly bash the team, start tearing my hair out and go completely crazy here over it, that's for sure.

Exactly! You're spot on! Start the mindless rage if these results continue through to Barcelona, but for now, everyone chill!

The last run with wet was not wrong. LH did the last fastest lap on full wet.

Question is, where will Kimi be. He isnt even close to fast. He needs to get that thing tuned to his tastes and fast !
If we take into accord how good Fernando and Kimi are during race days then yeah, im positive . Our guys have won even from the last place in the past im sure the can bring a good performance tomorrow.

I wonder what make you to believe this. Before Q I read that Ferrari might have better Q pace than race pace. Now you are saying otherwise.

Alonso will be on the podium tomorrow. Looking at the guys ahead he will break into the top 3. Having said that, an already complicated weekend got worse. Earlier on p3 rosberg and hamilton complained about tires overheating. That could be a problem tomorrow. The redbull might breakdown. Kevin might be slow with too much rear down force. Poor race starts.

The list goes on. So I think we might be in for a good weekend. Hopefully our car was setup more towards race trim.

Call me optimistic, but after all, this is only our first race.

It is now, when we didn't managed to make a superb car from the begining. In Barca updates will come, but it will always be a catching up from now.

The whole race really,it depends on everything especially on how the drivers manage their car, the tyre the fuel consumption and ofc the reliability . The mercedes themselves are keeping their heads down for a reason .

This. Our race pace looked worse than quali pace (when comparing to others).

This is hard to take, some would say what do you expect but I expected a little better today after so many rule changes and a new beginning, the car seemed hard to drive and we look to be back to the usual Alonso 5th on the grid and the second driver around 10th position, I know it's only Saturday and points are awarded on Sunday but we are once again playing catch up. All that said the hard part is the race and this is where I think we could do well, and it is still to early to really judge but me personally I can not take another season of disappointment. Forza Ferrari.

Hmmm, do we got more info from the team about this ?

    Wets.

Mercedes are strong but we have yet to see their race pace--as do we Ferrari. Brilliant qualifying for K-Mag and Dani Ric. Seb with a major hissy fit.

Hamilton on wets but Ric on inters, so it could be the case that inters was better for the end...

Fernando would of said inters. He is driving and feeling the track. All 1 team stop trying to point tyre call on the pit wall.

Alonso still has every chance of getting on the podium from 5th if the car allows him to. Great driver, year after year.

Now would be the best time to reminisce suzuka 2005 people !
THAT's what those 2 are capable of and THAT's exactly what they can do again !
We have 2 of the fastest and best drivers on the grid !
We need to be optimistic because we have the drivers who can make a bad car look good !

Yes, exactly! It's Alonso's call which tyres he wants to use in these wet conditions not Ferrari engineer's.

He could have not feel the track, when he was not on it. The rain was falling stronger between Q1 and Q2 and he wasn't on the track in the pause...
