Great News. To be honest, I thought the recent silence was just for the confirmation of his positive condition, he would have been out of coma for more than a week now, but that's just my bet, I could be wrong.
Wonderful news!!!!
not gonna change my profile picture
Just heard the news on radio... Excellent news.... Come on Schumey...

Just read it as well. Great news! Hopefully the rehabilitation will go well, as he has a long fight ahead of him still.

Happy for Michael and his family!! Wishing a full recovery with time.
Im sorry but is this really good news? Normally Sabine issues the media statements, so i dont really know what to believe and if Michael has left the hospital and is no longer in a coma, what does that actually mean? They dont say at all how his condition is now and that still worries me. It is also worries me that they will no longer update us on his condition and will take him to a private location. I dont know but to me this doesnt sound all that positive, but of course i hope im wrong
CUT ME. CUT YOU. BOTH OUR BLOOD IS FERRARI RED!
I heard on the news he is in an hospital in Lausanne at the moment for 3 days now. I don't know if this is true offcourse but that's what I've heard.

Ferrari's official Twitter account posted about it too.
I assume it has to be pretty reliable for the team to make a statement@InsideFerrari 52m
Giungono notizie incoraggianti che ci danno speranza.
Encouraging news that bring us hope.
But I hope it is anyway
Great News Im so happy..
Great news, but it could still be a long haul, but I have faith in him. If anyone can come back from this it's Michael.
Cheers,
Ray

He has a long way to go - but this is fantastic news
We may never see Michael in public again depending on what his condition truly is, but if he can have some sort of quality of life with his family then that's brilliant.
Forza Jules
Happy to hear that!

"If I was driving for Red Bull [from 2008] probably I would have more championships, but because they were dominating between 2010 and 2014 probably I would never have driven for Ferrari. I am very happy and very proud to drive for Ferrari, all my time there.
That is simply wonderful news indeed . I know that the rehabilitation will be a long and hard process, but being out of coma is a really big step forward. But that is definitely great news! I'm so happy and relieved to hear that. Keep fighting Champ! #Forza Schumi
KEEP CALM AND LOVE FERRARI

The moment Sabine announced that Michael had moments of eye opening, we knew he was no longer in a coma. BY DEFINITION. Coma = no consciousness, no eye opening. Open your eyes but unconscious, it’s a vegetative state. Add fluctuating signs of interaction with the environment, it’s a minimally conscious state.
So what does that mean? Sabine is a professional. At the beginning of April, she told us Michael had moments of awakening AND of consciousness. Once again, by saying this, she told us in almost clinically perfect language that Michael was no longer in a coma. She used two terms that only specialists actually distinguish; for laymen being awake and being conscious are the same thing. This language, then, clearly was used based on discussions with Michael’s care team, and reflected a highly accurate description of his minimally conscious state.
Now, we’re told, with what appears to be a bit of a triumphal air, that Michael is no longer in a coma. As stated above, THIS IS NOT NEWS. I cannot help but think that this is a highly cynical use of language, using the truth to convey an impression that is almost certainly false. I cannot but think that if Michael had emerged AT ALL from the minimally conscious state that Sabine so accurately described in April, we’d be told that Michael is leaving for rehab, that he is having problems expressing himself and will work hard to get better. Or that he’s having to learn to walk, read, write, etc all over again. But no, we’re told what we already know, and pretty much told to not ever expect further updates. Kinda like what I was thinking.
This all leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. And a huge space of sadness for Michael’s family, and for you, his fans.

Lovely news, Hopefully indeed it is a positive one.

WoW, this news was out of the blue!
I do so hope it's the first step back to a "normal" life for Michael and his family.
...but I'll keep praying for him anyway!
