Rumours here that someone might be in trouble in the top 10….results not official yet so let's wait and see what happens
f1talks.pl @f1talks56s
There were a lot of penalties this weekend in lower series for exceeding track limits so some changes on the grid are still possible.

Red Bull duo made their quick laps with all four wheels off the track... #F1
:
So both red cars in Top 10 after all.
Hey, it's progress!
Still nothing official. Grosjean had avoided a similar thing, let's see if it happens.
Can Fernando choose type of tyres?

Floor on Kimis car didn't manage the FIA check. Same like Grosjean in Hungary. Permane says damage caused of incident in corner 3 with 25g.
I guess it was not as bad at all. Let's find something positive - Fernando is starting from clean side.
From Ferrari.com:
The bare facts are that Fernando Alonso failed to get into the final part of qualifying for the very first time this season. But there’s a separation between one’s perception of that fact as a terrible showing and the reality, which is that the Spanish Ferrari man is eleventh on the grid, on the clean side of the track. In other words, it’s not as bad as the shock of seeing him giving interviews to the press while the final top ten shoot out was still going on.
Whether the floor flexes because of damage or other reason it doesn't matter ie. qualifying result has been achieved with an "illegal" car -> he'll start from the back.
So Felipe 7th and Fernando 10th tomorrow
We'll see.
It's all very well hoping Kimi will get a penalty but they may yet do the same to Felipe for having all 4 wheels off the track in Q1 (or was it Q2). It's not going to make much difference if the Lotus performs as it did in India. Just pray that wherever our boys start, we don't have any contact and can reel some of the others in on our race pace, although with the lack of traction that's a big ask. We tifosi have been through these challenging times before, it's painful but we're still here and so are Ferrari. It's all cyclical for the top teams and we have to live with it. Forza!

Looks like Kimi Raikkonen will be excluded from qualifying for the floor problem - which means he starts from the back of the grid
Andrew Benson @andrewbensonf1 1m
Raikkonen excluded from qualifying, allowed to start from the back of the grid
