We did good not a season, not two, but for the past few decades, being in the top 3 most of the time. That's something i'd call doing great. Asking for that, is also fair enough, given the money and experience we have. The problem for me is, that many people ask for dominance here, like what Vettel has at the moment and what we had with Michael, and if we don't win the WDC and WCC - it's failure and nothing more. I see that as extreme arrogance.

My personal view of the team is that we always have to try getting the WDC, and if we don't, then oh well, best men won. In both cases, we cheer the team all the way. If there's something wrong with the team, something with the organisation, then i don't run to the forum and shout about it, ask for heads, especially in a teams forum, where you will find a lot of people cheering for what we got in the team. I take the approach that the team will fix it, and that Luca and Stefano are not reading this forum for ideas if it's time to change something. I mean, it's one of the biggest companies in the world, which i'm rather sure is more dissapointed with not wining, then we'd ever be. I trust in the team and that it will solve the problems by itself, without the help of the fans, who ask for sacking in the forums. Doubt that atleast one person involved in the team actually reads this. I consider this as a better, friendlier way of looking at it personally.

Hope this clears up the reasoning i have for some of my comments.

Getting a feeling it's payback time for grosejan.
He needs to do some special acrobatics tomm for us while our drivers watch from behind.
Wish perez's tyre had gone to vettel in race...
shame we have to think all this as we cant win on track.

So you are happy, Forzi, having the best driver for 3 years not able to give him a decent car. Is that something we can be proud of? Because we are in top 3? Do you recall which were the teams and who were the drvers in second/third place in 2001-2004? Cause I don't. But I know for sure who was no.1.

@Forzi: When you are a team like Ferrari (being one of the top teams) you have to aim to win WCC / WDC or both. If you don't, you failed. Easy as that. It's not a dissaster to fail few times, but the problem is, we failed probably 5 times in the row now and it is getting tiring. We still feel the past, where we dominated the field, se we get "angry" when those bad results are stacking up. But few more and we'll get used to it I guess...

The car has been more than decent, just not in a level of RedBull who are having their era at the moment. If it was a bad car, we'd be 4th or 5th in the championship. That's not a reason to be proud, of course, but not a reason to go doom and gloom that we're a discrase.

OK, I know it's frustrating but everyone needs to remember to mind their language. Posts have been edited and infractions given. Let's calm down and clean it up.

I remember very well who were the drivers in 2nd and 3rd places from 2001-2004 (without checking on the internet): 2001- 2nd Coulthard 3rd Barrichello, 2002- 2nd Barrichello 3rd Montoya, 2003- 2nd Räikkönen 3rd Montoya, 2004- 2nd Barrichello 3rd Button
    ...it's not that difficult.

Agree with pretty much everything. The only reason we're not the best and been grabbing 2nd and 3rd for the past years was RedBull. It's not like dominant teams changed, everyone got a chance to shine and we stood still and sucked at it, it's just a team found something in 2009-2010 and because of it, stood at the top. That's why we were dominant with Michael, we had a really great team combo. Loosing to a team that has everything going for them and are living a golden age is something i personally can accept. If you take RedBull out of the equasion, we'd have won a couple of championships in the past few years.

That's exactly how I'm trying to ease the pain sometimes, but then I realize that Vettel is going for 4th consecutive title... Hurts then even more.

Shows how others felt helpless when we had our era. Now, we just got outplayed by a team that has as much money as us, as much of experience in the current regs as we do and as much of technologies to play around. Pretty much nothing less than us.

Oh wait, they don't have the history, love and fans we got But sadly, that doesn't convert in tenths on the track, otherwise we'd be in Brazil, when they're doing season testing

would be a good advice to team principal too ...

this result is the complete declaration of bankruptcy and confession of failure of homework.

After the meaningless press release yesterday I had the worse sense that ended up in this result.

If some man would have character they would leave now immediately as they are not worth of it compared what they earn each month (better yesterday as it even can't get worse without them)

    again
this result is the complete declaration of bankruptcy and confession of failure of homework.
And if Luca doesn't act know we will loose more than 2014 too.

Too bad, other teams specifically Merc have improved so much during the 3 weeks since Canada, even the Force India and Toro Rosso. While we at Ferrari have regressed

Best of luck to our Boys tomorrow, they need a lot of good luck tomorrow to finish well ahead and gain points against Vettel and Red Bull for the WDC and Constructors Championship. Keep the faith...Mabuhay Ferrari!

So can anyone give me reasonable explanation as to why it seems we're going backwards in our car development? Is it really the faulty new parts or what? We seem to be in much worse shape than 3 weeks ago.

i think your best bet is to PERSONALLY e-mail ferrari in maranello; they may have the answers for you, or do they?? maybe they are just as LOST as we are, working flat out and getting nowhere....or maybe just like some member here has said, maybe we've reached or designing plateau on the alreay 2 year OLD car...

let's just all PRAY that Merc has fixed their issues on chewing up tires and WIN this race instead of Pettel....that would at least help us on our DAMAGE LIMITATION mode that we all of a sudden SEEM TO BE IN....
So the SF-24 has been a decent car. Lets hope that the totally redesigned from the ground up SF-25 contender will be a beast that will give us tifosi something to smile about.

And 6th consecutive year with no WDC! Yes, you said it right - IT HURTS. No bashing here, just some of us are more emotional fans than others, but true fans, nevertheless. Expressing what we really feel, trying to suggest way out, with all our ignorence, may be. So be it, that's what forums are for.
But I really will not read Ferrari's Team and driver quotes this time as I know what is going to be said, we've heard it some 60-70 times in the last years. Like someone wrote today " we are getting used to it".

Whatever the reason, what happens is not good, not good at all. But that should NEVER be a reason to quit supporting the Prancing Horse!

There is something seriously wrong with this car. Rear end looked messy all the time and the balance wasn't there at all. It seems all teams made progress this weekend especially TR and FI, Ferrari not so much......

if you say so....see you in australia 2014 then....if you think watching Ferrari when they struggle is NOT fun anymore....that only says that you are NOT a true die hard Ferrari fan...because if you were, you'd support them through THICK and THIN.....

IT may look like it's THIN now, but we're ferrari, we'll BOUNCE BACK...
