even if this is just an inoffensive dinner between friends, it's maximun trolling from Mark and Fernando. I hope RB don't screw Mark again because he is "sleeping with the enemy".

These two are my Ferrari dream team. Webber and Alonso against Raikkonen and Vettel at Red Bull.

It will still be Alonso Vs Vettel.

Dont think webber or Kimi can keep up with them. More so over the length of an entire season.

Kimi might however give Vettel a run for his money.

Agreed. Webber however might out qualify Alonso if Ferrari would fuel his car. I think Raikkonen would outperform Seb.

Massa to Webber is kind of a sideways step anyway. I think Webber might perform to a slightly higher standard but it wouldn't be a huge increase or anything.

I also get the impression Mark would happily play second fiddle to Alonso if the circumstance arose half way through the season and would help Alonso win.

Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber have rekindled the 'Multi-21' controversy with a cheeky photo posted on Twitter.

When the pair sat down for dinner in Dubai in April 2013, Ferrari's Alonso captured the moment on his phone and posted the photo on Twitter.

The caption read: "Dinner with friends in Dubai.."

    MULTI-21 SCANDAL

The significance of the photo may have been realised by some, as a look at the Ferrari driver's Twitter feed now shows that the photo and "tweet" have been deleted.

Webber re-tweeted it on his own Twitter feed.

Although Webber and Alonso were already friends, the pair must have realised the political significance of the photo.

At the end of the 2012 campaign, Webber reportedly defied a Red Bull strategy to help team mate Sebastian Vettel beat Alonso to the 2012 title.

Indeed, Webber's own manager Flavio Briatore had observed afterwards: "The only one who helped Ferrari was Webber."

The "Multi-21" affair got its name after Sebastian Vettel defied Red Bull's coded team order to follow Webber to the chequered flag at the 2013 Malaysian Grand Prix in March.

Webber has since been strongly linked with a move for 2014 to Porsche's new prototype Le Mans project.

Commenting on the Alonso/Webber photo, British MotoGP commentator Julian Ryder said: "I'm no F1 expert but is (the photo) the best wind up in living memory?"

Former champion Jacques Villeneuve told Bild: "The (Red Bull) team is paying the price for the negative energy that has developed in the past weeks.

"At Ferrari it's completely different, with Alonso and Massa in perfect harmony."

FRIENDS WILL BE FRIENDS: Following the 2012 team order scandal, it's good to see Webber (left) and Alonso sitting down to enjoy a meal together. Image – Facebook
