Not the complete Melbourne spec. new wings(front and rear) and a new floor this weekend, but some parts and details will only be on the car in Melbourne, according to Gazetta dello sport because they absolutely want to keep them a secret until qualification. (or maybe they're just not ready yet)

Thanks for clearing things up Massimo! I thought I heard that somewhere but I couldn't imagine myself as well that Ferrari would put all the cards on the table during testing already.

They should have come to Portugal have nice weather and an F1 track that is gathering dust! Looks terribly cold and wet there in Barcelona shame for the team and Alonso, I suppose it is good experience for the team and the car lets hope it is dry by 14.00 when they go live.

On a serious note, Saturday and Sunday is looking good, the FIA could extend each of those days by 1-2 hours.

I may be being stupid but I don't understand all this talk about 'rake', can someone explain to this technophobe what it actually means, please. Massimo, you usually have the answer to everything! Wet start today at Barcelona will be useful if it's going to improve for Sat/Sun, at least we'll get more info on set-up and tyres, and then some proper speed over the weekend.

I've read somewhere that there is no way to get tests extended...FIA doesnt allow it, only in some extreme situations (storm, holes on track like in Jerez, etc) can session be extended...
I'm sure they will look up for next year some warmer and sunnier places to test....

Some teams could argue they need more time to test, for safety reasons.

    Off topic,

Niki Lauda is Alitalia's nr.1 choice as their new CEO.

To extend the volume between the floor and the track from front to rear of the floor. We can say that the car is sucking the track.
It's the best way to produce DF (it produces less drag).
