Stewart: "In dry or wet, Alonso is amazing"

The three-time Formula 1 is full of praise: "Without Fernando, Ferrari was in trouble, I respect him a lot"

(MODs, please move if needs to go into appropriate thread, grazie)

One of the most respected voices in the United Kingdom, which is to talk about the home of motorsport, is Jackie Stewart, triple world champion in 1969, 1971 and 1973 and still present in the paddock of Formula 1 as usual.

The Scot, who recently recommended Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull does not move while still in Ferrari Fernando, yesterday expanded its visible admiration for the Spanish champion: "He has the best tool in your mind. It is very mature, has won two world titles and 30 races, and is in a position where his word has great weight, because without him I think Ferrari would be in serious trouble this season. Fernando motivates the team a lot, "he says.

Stewart, who follow the races at the World's motorcade is as amazed as the rest of the performance of Spanish and worked leadership. "Then, also meets your performance on the track. No matter if dry or wet, Fernando is always amazing. I have great respect for him," concludes Stewart.

Sir Jackie knows what he is talking about. His eye is still sharp.

Stewart is a certified halfwit! (Mosley said it first)

But agreed, Alonso has certainly been amazing.. Clearly the best this year wet or dry.
