The F2012's rear is not as tight as that pic suggests. When looking from above it will have a more rounded profile.

So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.
Well the W03 defiantly wins the ugly car vote from me... The nose is even worse than ours!
The latest rules take the Exhaust to far away from the Rear Wing, Diffuser, Aero Planes of the Rear Suspension, Etc. I think the only place the Exhaust could benefit the race car is to direct gases to "Below" the rear undertray and help speed the air rushing "Under" the race car and out the Rear Diffuser. In other word, "Blowing the Underside" of the race car. That could be something to exploit.
Ciao.
Forza Ferrari!!!!
So does anyone have any pics yet? I'm Excited!

I think the RB solution, as the angling is limited, has to do with heating the gases underfloor. I hope these ingenious materials ferrari have been claiming to be working with are in this regard. a la byrne's new floor m'haps
Things r gonna heat up now..
what is this? heat from the engine collected by a portion of the floor then the hot air is directed to the diffuser??? i have seen rumors surrounding this issue that linked to the F2012. if this is true it would be a big factor, and byrne and newey would have the same idea
Hell would have broken loose

Good idea but probably won't work in reality. The car would be all over the place under braking after a straight. Some corners on a circuit are not sharp enough to deflect enough air away from the central duct, which would result in very erratic downforce on a lap. Imagine air getting into the central duct and stalling the front wing on a corner like Eau Rouge or 130R . Can't imagine it'll do driver confidence any good either.
