It is officially F2012, right?
If so:

What you get when aerodynamics are mutated by regulations and not a natural progression and refinement under physical laws alone.
Reminds of this tbh.
It's a shame the regs pushed us this way really. F1 likes to wear its beauocracy on its sleeve these days though. Now we can be reminded of that fact every time we see an F1 car

Is there any REALLY hi-res official front side photo? The best I was able to find was 1280x800 which is kinda lame... There has to be something more than that

The F2012 has left for Jerez
Maranello, 3 February –This afternoon, the F2012 set off on its journey to make its track debut, scheduled for 7 February at Jerez de la Frontiera, in Andalusia. The only car available so far was launched this morning to all the fans of the Prancing Horse through the medium of the Maranello company’s website and was then returned to the Car Assembly area where the final touches were put to it. Then, at dusk, on a very cold day that actually did not see any more snow fall in the end, it was loaded onto a high-speed transporter which then left for Jerez.
It’s a long way to go, given the distance separating Maranello from the Spanish city is around 2,200 kilometres and it is due to arrive tomorrow night. Some members of the team will already be there awaiting its arrival, while the majority will fly out of Bologna on Sunday morning.
On the bright side, the number should be clearly visible...

Lol. I expect complainings from Maccas already. This is just the show car, not the final Melbourne one, and there are question marks already.
Assuming that FIA's decisions were against Ferrari as of late, let us hope that if the car turns damn quick, the entire F1 Grid and FIA will not play the cards against us this season.
What kind of question marks I wonder ? Ferrari had all the rules, and the car is made according to them. WTH are they wondering about already ?
It's ugly but I already love it. Just by seeing the prancing horse on it
WOW I dont care what she looks like, as long as she wins us races and fast so what. Looks as if the whole car is working the air alot better and more aggressive than what we have seen on our cars for past couple years. Looking forward to see the new wings. The exhaust exits look interesting, may blow the brakes or rear wheel rim to help get heat in them and downforce. Love the line on the side pods, working the air flow the whole length and helping the rear wing ( lower plane).
I know testing is nothing to jump up and down about, for speed etc etc, but really cannt wait see her on track.

Its that ugly, if its a slow car, I am watching re-runs of last years races even though we lost most of them!!! <sick>

got to say, after the shock this morning the car is growing on me.
the car looks a beast from above.
as long as its fast i dont care too much what it looks like.
The nose really is ugly- but I think she will be fast and make me love her anyway. It is very aggressive, and that is a good thing.
I love all of the amateur aerodynamicists chiming in. We should send the hot air to Italy to clear up the snow.
Cheers,
Ray

Greig + wacc: Yes, this is the picture. But I would need it with a lot biger resolution for what I am doing, which I guess Ferrari didn't released.

This pic is fantastic. Really highlights the "undernose" (and the wing--holy cow, how many different elements it has )

Excellent Picture of the new Frontal Area of the 2012 Ferrari Race Car! All of the Front Wing Elements are working toward capturing more of the front volume of air and speeding up the rate it flows backward toward the lower portion of the Sidepods and the Rear Diffuser & Rear Wing with the Floor and Undertry used as an active element as well! There are dedicated High Pressure and Low Pressure areas of air that influence the downforce of the entire race car. I love looking at this car and how it is using Air Flow.
Ciao.
Forza Ferrari!!!!
