Avanti Fer, avanti!
Well, it's raining constantly this morning as predicted.
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)
Considering its going to be a wet race Qualifying is not as meaningful. Nevertheless we are in the best position to take advantage of any first corner incidents with Alonso and Massa in fourth and fifth and both drivers seem confident. Lets just hope for no Canada repeats and hopefully we have a good car in the wet and get on the podium at the very least.
Let's hope Webber, Hamilton, and Vettel, all decide they want the same line in turn one. :twisted

Actually, Fred is the diminuitive of Frederick, the English version of Ferderico!
Though you are absolutely right, I would suggest that it's not always possible to stay on topic when you have so many people contributing to the conversation.
Try that in "real" life and I'm sure you'll find the same thing you find on these threads!
Enjoy the race!! Hopefully, the commentators can stay on topic there instead of going on and on and on about "some" drivers!!

So we would be as well calling him Vinny as a nickname, as Fred bears no relation to Fernando
