I don't think I have ever been so excited about a mid season car development. Ferrari are still very much in the hunt for both titles despite a rather stop start season so far. If these coming updates make the kind of difference people are talking about then this could transform the season.

Or they may not make any difference and I will feel really AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone on this forum needs to chip in to purchase a roof top flat you can see next to the test track. We can then time share it between us all year with a decent camera and mega zoom lens to capture everything that happens at Fiorano for ourselves

    Thanks mandzipop!

I don't see the part I thought I did below the sharkfin now. I must have been seeing the end plate of the rear wing.

The car looks a bit bare. They ought to put Fernando and Felipe on the side of the cars.

Somebody tell me that's not a triangular yellow KERS warning sticker behind Alonsos head-rest.

    EDIT: It's a Spanish flag sticker :)

I can now see the exhuast, it's where I thought it would be, and the f-duct inlets are indeed in the same place. Thanks for the pics. Now just need one of that front wing.

Only if there was an image of the front of the car so we can see the possible new front wing.

Way to skirt the testing ban!

I really hope this new spec car will allow Ferrari to really take the fight to Mclaren & RedBull. The team did say last week that they were rather happy with the factory work/results for this.

Of course it will probably look better with some decals on it.... but even that's not right to be saying.

the only reason its ugly is the shark fin which automatically makes every car ugly. before they put the fin the car looked great and still does not the front or top.

    agreed

The shark fin effectivly negates the considerable beauty of the original car unless veiwed from the front or rear. It's a real shame.

I always find it quite funny that journalists read the forums to get information. "It has been reported" seems to be their equivalent for 'we read that in the forums' lol

First word that comes to mind when I look at it is.... bulbous.
They have to ban the shark fins.
