The only thing I don't understand that the article says next weekend unveil? I thought the Finali Mondiali ends on 6th December so that would mean reveal in a few days :xmasrolleyes:

On a side note, I was surprised to find out that the Finali Mondiali will be held at Abu Dhabi this year. I always thought it was exclusively held at Italy only.:xmasconfused:

Good question! I think Felipe was at the Christmas party as well last year? I don't about Fernando now because Vettel is already announced and has already tested for us :Hmm

This would have been a good opportunity to drop the F1 PU into a car that could serve as a test bed. Here we are drooling over this V-12 killer, while Ferrari's F1 car is powered by a turbocharged Fiat 500 engine and a bunch of batteries. If you believe the meme that F1 is a platform for development, this amazing car is going in the wrong direction. Or, is it F1 that is going in the wrong direction?:-(

Does anybody see Ferrari street cars of the future being powered by tiny turbo engines? While we wait for that to happen, we'll have to make do with VW GTIs!:lol

Not too many surprises (aside from the name), though I wonder whether the new lights are going to be a future Ferrari design trend. I miss the old round rear lights already. Also, I'm sure it'll look better without all the white highlights.

Don't know how much is from those winglets but here's a sentence on downforce from the Ferrari write-up -

It's only just you probably. Since it's an Italian car then in Italian language there isn't such a word as what you're thinking. And it's name is not "FXXK" it's "FXX K" there's a space there.

Absolutely amazing beast! Too bad it's not street-legal. Those people who will get to drive this awesome racecar are so lucky.

On a different note, I wish Ferrari would develop a Le Mans prototype out of this beautiful monster, that would be simply epic.

Apparently the Ferrari FXX K laps the Fiorano track in 1.14! With that it is 2 seconds faster than the (Enzo) FXX and 5 seconds faster than the regular LaFerrari :xmasbiggrin:
