:clap:clap:clap

There's at least 3 good passing zones, and they have their own Turkey Turn 8. Oh and a long back straight. Can't wait.

T1 and T2 is the Hill? Kinda similar to Spa?

Looks interesting, a CCW track with that elevation at the beginning, lots of height changes, and that triple-corner is definitely similar to that of Turkey. Hopefully this one will make for a few nice overtakes. So far it looks one of the best by Tilke, if not the best.

Nice climb at the start.

Thanks for the post, amico mio :wine

I have always wanted to visit Texas. Montreal first, though :-)

That looks pretty good. The 3D layout doe snot show just how long the back strait really is.

The section after T2 almost reminds me of Suzuka.

Hmm, not too sure, particularly about the area between turns 6 & 9 and between turns 12 & 16. But the elevation changes, the hairpin, the mother of all back straights and some of the corners look quite promising. Have to see!

Like the elevation change at the start, there's going to be some gambling going on with brake distances. :-) I hope the esses (3, 4, and 5) are more extreme than is shown in the layout. Turns 13 - 15 also look promising, but would have liked a dip into 15. 6 kilometers, nice distance.

might be even better if they run clockwise.

TBH with a track length of 3.4 miles, that many corners I fail to see how the "long" straight could be that long. It'll probably turn out to be similar to sahkir in terms of overtaking. I can how some Laguna Seca inspired parts which should be fun.

The front straight and T1 are Fuji inverted.

I would also like to think that some of the turns on the hills would be a bit inspired by the old great A1 circuit. That track had alot of elevation change to it.

He's the only circuit designer on the planet you know! (either that or he has some compromising pictures of Bernie in his wallet)
