F1 Racing magazine ran an article in the September 2008 issue: F1's GREATEST FERRARIS

Here is the list

312T---1975/1976

156--1961/1962 (you all know how I feel about this one :-D )

F2004

126/C2--1982

500--1952/1953

Agree? Disagree?

Personally, I don't see how F2002 doesn't make then list ahead of the 126.

Over to you :-)

The 500 won every race in 1952 and 7 out of eight in 1953 .

That's pure and simple dominance . I don't see how it can't be considered the best ever .

Redarmysoja you're on the money. Ascari's '52-'53 domination with
the 500 got me started as a Ferrari tifoso (red army soldier) so it'll
always be my sentimental favorite and it's stats are the best.

F2002 by far. No doubt about it. This car stunned F1 at Imola in 2002 and then went to dominate the season on two weels.

The 248F1 was the best looking car ever for me too. The Suzuka package was particularly pretty, even if the result stuck. Best car ever has to go to the F2004 for me.

I think the prettiest Ferrari F1 was the F2001 seen in Monza that year. Obviously, due to the terrible 9/11 attack.

F2004 all day, won 15 of 18 races (I don't count the first rwo races in '05) 12 poles, 14 fastest laps and Michael's 7th world title...
Was in an absolute league of its own, although I agree The 500 was something special, and it won 8 of 8 races, but with the exception of Monaco where Michael was strangely taken out by Montoya in the tunnel behind the safety car, The F2004 won the first 13 races, it's final tally of 15 of 18 is just unbelievable...

Happy days... :-)

There are so many, 126 C3 I thought better than the C2, but there are so many, how do you list them?
I think the 248 is an unnoticed car, probably because its hanging around the 2002 and 2004.
I think I will have to look at the different era's and check the list.
Oh I gotta add the Sharknose..

The F2004 is not only the greatest Ferrari F1 car but it's the greatest F1 car of all-time. It was the pinnacle of Formula 1 cars.
While the F2004 is the best F1 car in terms of performance, but when it comes to looks I have a soft spot for the Ferrari 640(F1/89) from the 1989 season and the 1990 season 641 was a real beauty as well.
Actually all the Ferrari F1 cars have been beautiful and that red color makes them even more beautiful.
But yea, in terms of performance the F2004 is clearly the best. Most track records today are still on Schumi's and F2004's name.

I too never realized it was so good looking of a car. I seem to love the not so subtle, very aggressive lines in it. Look at that rear wing compared to the F2003-GA's.

But perhaps my pick for second favorite may generate some talk here. In spite of it being a dismal race car in terms of performance (so much understeer that Alain Prost called it a "pig", which promptly got him fired), I have loved the Ferrari 643 since I first laid eyes on her. So heartbreakingly gorgeous from every angle. If only she was a winner...

Very though question, I think it's hard to say one car, because eacht era the cars were so different.
A list for me:
500 (52-53)
156 (61-62)
312 (67)
F1-89
i'm not sure which I prefer more F2002/F2003/F2004/F2006
F2008 was also a beauty but in the end, same could be said from the 2007...
for some reason I also like F10, it's not a beauty per se, but I think I like it..

For me The F138 is the prettiest Ferrari in the post 2010 Era because of the stepped noses in 2012, This car was a huge step forward in aesthetics and also because of the new awesome Colour scheme it looks awesome and also such a neat and compact packagaing by Ferrari at the rear makes a iit more attractive..F2004 and F2008 are also pretty but I liked the new wider front wing aswell

I have rediscovered the beauty and awesomeness of the 126C2 from 1982. A wonderful masterpiece created by Harvey Postlethwaite. :love

And it's just so criminally unfair that this beautiful beast didn't win a WDC title at the hands of Gilles or Didier.

Aside from the stepped nose, it's an amazing looking car. The switch to OZ wheels has made the Ferrari's look great in the last 2 years IMO.

Oh, I see... but with all due respect my friend, you can't blame the F60 for what happened to Felipe in 2009. It was just a very unfortunate accident, that's all, these kind of things happen in motorsport. If anyone is at all to blame in this accident then it's the Brawn team's mechanics and their flying spring.

That 126C2 looks terrifying nowadays, drivers sat so far forward with their heads sticking out, no wonder they were so dangerous and claimed Gilles. The 312B2 is great too, as were the 1967/8 3-litre V12s with the spaghetti exhausts (not sure type no), but the F138 was pretty gorgeous too, just a shame it didn't go as well as it looked.

Visually, I've always admired the F2007. With the darker shade of red and the absence of white, I think it's by far the best looking Ferrari I've seen in the 20 years or so I've been watching F1.

I also particularly liked the distinctive shape of the F2002, a shame about the livery though.

The recent cars with the goofy looking big front wings and skinny rear wings beginning with the F60 just don't do it for me.

If the nose was straight like the 1990 car or concave instead of convex i think this would be very beautiful. I say 1967 312 which was confirmed when i saw it at the Donington grand prix collection not long ago. Same year 330 p4 was in sports cars. They got the beauty levels through the roof that year.
